Umbrelly And Boots

When it rains there are scrillions of drops.

They swish, they drip, and they flop.

The soak up the streets

Make my sneakers go squeeeeeeek

And I find myself slipping a lot.

Umbrellies and boots lend a hand.

For instinctively, they both understand.

Just how crummy it can be

When the rains been set free,

And it’s fallin all over my head!
